HfE, LLC engineers and supports warfighter focused Command, Control and Intelligence applications through continuous process and product improvement. As part of our software and systems engineering analyses, we consider Usability Engineering in the Life-Cycle (UELC) of software development. Our Human factors Engineering analyses include User-Centered Design tasks and metrics with particular use of eye tracking methods and technology. Our engineering process gets the User involved ‘Early and Often’.

Our principle engineer, Michael Shumberger, has been responsible for providing outstanding Engineering Services to the United States Navy since 1997. Our specialty is in the area of Software Usability Engineering, however, we provide general systems engineering and modeling & simulation services as well. Our regular customers particularly value our first-hand knowledge of the Warfighting Environment and our dedication to providing a quality and complete analysis. Our business is located in Mt Pleasant, SC (near Charleston).
